Terilyn Fesler, LPC-MHSP, NCC
Therapy is a passion that I feel so lucky to have found. I learn with and from every client I see. While I have experience with many populations, I am most knowledgeable with assisting victims of domestic violence, children struggling with depression/anxiety, and individuals who have experience with addiction. I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to face their fears, build a therapeutic relationship, and improve their overall quality of life. I believe that regardless of what you have achieved, you deserve the life you are willing to create for yourself. I currently see ages 13 and up.
I enjoy incorporating acceptance into my work, focusing on the idea that all emotions are important and serve a purpose. I believe that our thoughts are not always true and through identifying unhelpful thoughts, we can alleviate the impact of the distress you experience.
You know yourself best and I strive to help you remain authentic to yourself through your decision-making. I am passionate about learning your story, what you have overcome, and to offer support through the unique challenges you are facing. It would be an honor to be a part of your journey, no matter what phase of life you are in.
I received my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in 2019. I received a Bachelors in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Women's Studies from the University of Tennessee in June 2017. I have been a National Certified Counselor since March 25, 2021 and currently have a status of Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider qualification (LPC-MHSP) in the state of Tennessee
